It seems as if you have stumbled upon our digital home either with intention or happenstance. Either way, we're glad you are here. We hope that you find it informative and at least somewhat tantalizing. After all, what's the point if you are not intrigued by the delicious beverages or incredible concerts that we provide?

The Green Frog Cafe Acoustic Tavern is located in beautiful Bellingham, Washington.  Although not directly in the downtown core, the atmosphere you will find at the Frog is well worth the walk down State Street.  The vision for the Green Frog included a separation from the "scene" downtown. We hope that you will come here simply because you want to, not because you happened to be stumbling by. There are no drink specials, no fifty cent wells, and no adults who act like children (most of the time). We pride ourselves on creating an environment that is comfortable and inviting to everyone.

We fancy ourselves as the finest local acoustic (although not always acoustic, we like to make noise too!) music venue in this area with shows every night of the week. Musicians from all over the country have vocalized their wish that we were in their hometown. We showcase talented musicians from far and near, from Bellingham to Paris, France.  Artists from C.R. Avery and The Boomchasers, The Waybacks, Crooked Still, Hamell on Trial and Amy Speace to Chuckanut Drive, Anais Mitchell, Danny Barnes, Jonathan Byrd and Sarazin Blake have played on our tiny stage. And those are just a hand full of the many talented artists to pass through. You may not know every name on our calendar, but you can be rest assured that all the musicians are worth a listen.We appreciate your support of these traveling troubadours. Bellingham is fortunate to be located in the heart of beer country. The Pacific Northwest has become a haven for incredible microbreweries. With so much great beer being produced locally, we decided long before opening our doors to showcase brews from predominantly Northwest breweries. Other fine beers that hail from Belgium, Scotland, and the East Coast have crept stealthily into our coolers from time to time as well. We have installed as many taps as possible in our 4 small coolers and they now total 23. There is no place in the region with as many taps reserved for fine craft ales, lagers and ciders. Our motto is "No crap on tap," and we stick to it. No macros, ever. When local brewers have something special or limited, they know where it belongs. They are carefully selected for you, our customers. We hope to serve you one (or several) soon. Check our Beers page to see what's pouring right now.
